Piedmont Together is hosting a two-day series of community development planning events. On November 14 participants will review progress and recommendations from the Piedmont Together regional planning project, help prioritize development scenarios, and learn more about mixed-use projects and financing. Discuss and learn more about equitable development, and help decide next steps. The following day, attendees for the economic opportunities bus tour will learn about development opportunities and plans for sites in Asheboro, Cooleemee, High Point, Lexington, and Randleman.

- Keynote speaker Emma Littlejohn from The Littlejohn Group will speak about the challenges and benefits of developing economically integrated urban neighborhoods.
- Algenon Cash from Wharton-Gladden will lead a panel discussion - "Financing mixed-use developments in today’s market."
